Micro Inverters
We believe that the application of micro inverters for installation of less than 4kW is the next line of progression. We are working with a company that is developing inverters for the UK and European markets and the product will be launched in spring of this year.
Glassless (light weight ) PV Modules.
It is a well known fact that for several applications, light weight modules are suitable. 3mm to 4mm low iron tempered glass renders the modules heavy and therefore is not practical. We are working with companies that are developing glass-less modules by using ETFE films developed by Dupont that has good transmission and laminating properties and is comparable to glass yet considerably lighter.
Furthermore it meets the rigorous hail stone storming tests and temperature variation cycle requirements.
Thin film and BIPV
On newer technologies such as Thin Films and building integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) we are working with HHV factory in India that is being dedicated to the manufacture (BIPV) and Thin Film PV and will meet the needs of newer areas in PV installations such as building facades, rooftops, carports, conservatories, green houses and areas where hybrids such as a mix of light transmission and power generation is required.
